Bio

A painter and a sculptor, she holds a B.A. in Studio Art from the University of Alabama in Huntsville.  She works in pen/ink, watercolors, acrylics, clay and mixed media. She is a member of the Nashville Artist’s Guild, a Signature member of the Tennessee Watercolor Society, and the Central South National Exhibit.   Glenna is also a Docent Emeritus at the Frist Art Museum with over 1,000 hours of service.  

 

She enjoys working in both traditional and more innovative styles and hopes to inspire the viewer to stop and contemplate the work, and decide what it means to them.  It is her desire that viewers are blessed by her efforts.  Texture and color dominate her works.

She has received numerous awards for both 2-D and 3-D works in local, regional, and national exhibits.
