Glenna R. Cook, Artist Statement

Stop, look, and contemplate the artwork I am presenting to you.  As a painter and sculptor, it is necessary for me to decide whether my idea will read better in a 2-D of 3-D format.

Depending on my interest at the moment, I create either representational or abstract works.

In any way you might choose to  interpret my art, hopefully, you will allow the colors and textures to mesh together as if in a dance being performed before your eyes.  From that inspiration, if you find yourself blessed, then I feel very successful and happy as an artist.
